Order Issues

Don't panic! We will work it out for you!

Before you contact us there are a couple of things you can check:

1.) Your tracking ID. Check how many boxes are on their way to you! Usually, it will be more than one! If the number of boxes on your tracking ID is greater than the amount you have received then the remaining boxes are usually on their way to you, maybe just a day behind in the postage process! If a day or two has passed and you are still missing your parcel reach out to us and we will look into it further.

2.) Check your tracking ID for any notifications from Auspost as your parcel may be waiting for you at the local post office.

3.) If your order does not match your invoice please contact us and we will double check our warehouse records.

In the case that your order has gone missing during the postage service, we will arrange pairs to be sent to you and when the missing parcel arrives you can send them back to us or we can send you the invoice for them.

We have several lines of quality control checking to ensure that the stock that we send to you if of the highest possible quality. However, while we will always endeavour the send you the very best stock we have, it is also important to remember that sometimes there will be minor product imperfections that will occur and are just part of the manufacturing process. For example, occasionally there could be some overspill from the moulding process that has not been perfectly trimmed or maybe dust or pen mark from the factory which is easily rubbed off. In these instances, we would greatly appreciate if you could be practical and see if it is easy to rectify the issue. However, if you believe that you send stock that is in a non-sellable condition, then of course we want to sort this out for you as quickly as possible! If you have received stock that is in a non-sellable condition, then please contact us and someone from the Archies Footwear team will be in touch with you to sort this out as soon as possible.

If you did not receive all of the pairs that you ordered then please contact us and someone from the Archies Footwear customer service will be in touch to sort this issue out for you as soon as possible!

In the event that we have sent you the wrong size and colour and we were at fault, then we will express post the pair(s) that you were missing immediately (free of postage charge of course).

In terms of what to do with the incorrect pairs, in some instances, if you are happy to do so, we often just encourage you to hold onto to them for the season and they can be held in credit to be either invoiced at the end of the season if you have sold them or they can be sent back if they have not been sold. Archies Footwear will of course re-reimburse you for the return postage charges.

Just some points to help with your online ordering of the Archies Thongs:


You must make sure that you use the right web browser.

The website does NOT function correctly when using older internet browsers such as Internet Explorer. For the website to function correctly, you must use more modern browsers such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.


Make sure you use the correct website.

Please note the retailer website is a different website to the general consumer website. To order thongs, simply go to: www.taf.archiesfootwear.com.au

Click on the tab, PLACE AN ORDER. Simply enter your order into the spreadsheet, tick agree to the terms and conditions, submit the order, select your payment method and you're away!


Check your email address is correct.

Do this by searching for Archies Footwear to see if anything comes up.


Check your password is correct.

You can re-set your password by using the Forgot your password  link on the Log Inpage.

Postage and Logistics

Shipping cost all depends on the size of the order and where the thongs are going to.

Shipping is FREE for orders over $300.00 of spend on thongs.

For orders under $300.00, postage is at the expense of the customer.

Postage cost are fully viewable at the time of ordering as they are auto-calculated at the checkout page. Also, the amount of $$$ spend required to get free shipping is also automatically calculated and you can see how many more dollars you need to spend to get free shipping, however, you have obviously missed seeing this, sorry.


If using a discount code this may bring the total cost below $300.00, if this is the case please add more pairs to your order as free shipping is only for order over $300.00.

When your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking notification email via the email that you have associated with your Archies Footwear account.

We predominately use Aus Post and depending on your location and order size, occasionally national courier services. Once the shipping dispatch notification email has been sent, your shipment status can then be tracked throughout the delivery process by referring to this email and also by locating your order and associated tracking number through your account on this website.

When the delivery arrives, we require a signature to be given to confirm receipt of the goods.

Your Archies Thongs and Stand may arrive on different deliveries. Please do not worry!

We use both Aus Post and Courier services to deliver the stands and due to the different services used, it is common that thethongs and the stands will arrive at different times.

If your thongs show up with no stand or vice versa, there is usually a lag of a couple of days before both items arrive.

You can track the status of your stand order and your thongs order via the tracking notification email that you will receive when your goods have been dispatched from our warehouse or by locating your order and the associated tracking number in your Archies Footwear account.

The tracking notification email will be sent to the email address that was used to create the account with the Archies Footwear retailer website.

If a couple of days have passed please contact us and we can check this for you.

*Please note- you need to order the stand, it is not an automatic addition to your first order.

Yes. If you would like us to express post your order then this is ok. For orders over the minimum spend of $350.00, Archies Footwear will cover the cost of regular postage and the difference between express and regular is to be paid by the customer. We calculate this by using the fee estimator via the Aus Post Website. Please be aware, while express postage satchels for smaller orders are reasonably well priced, express posting orders larger than a satchel size outside of Victoria is VERY EXPENSIVE and is not recommended. As we are based in Victoria, orders that are express posted within Victoria are reasonably cost-effective and are typically not greatly more expensive than regular post.

For express post orders, we guarantee that your order will be dispatched and shipped in the fastest time possible, however, we do not guarantee next day delivery as the delivery times for express post order is dependent on a number of factors!

However, the simple answer is, if your order and payment is received while the warehouse is still open and still with enough time to make the postage run, then providing you are in an express post zone (and the time of the year!), next day delivery should apply. However, due to the other factors mentioned, allow for 1-2 days for delivery.

As already mentioned, the time that we receive your order / payment is vitally important to delivery times for express post. Your order will be sent as soon as the order is paid / remittance advice is received. However, the dispatch day normally depends on the time that the payment has been received. Express post shipments always take priority in our warehouse over regular post shipments. For payments received before 12pm, we will endeavour to dispatch your order the same day. For payments received after 12pm, we will still endeavour to dispatch your order same day, however in this case, please allow for next day dispatch.

Delivery times for express post orders also depend on whether or not the location that the thongs are being delivered to is in an express post zone. TheExpress Post Delivery networkis the network within which Aus Post guarantees next business day delivery for Express Post items. Outside of this network, Express Post items will be delivered in the fastest method possible. To view the Express Post Delivery Network, please see the following link:

If the thongs cannot fit into a postage satchel, then they will have to be put into a box and the postage will then get substantially more expensive, in this case, it will be more economical to try and push for the minimum spend of $350 to receive free postage.

In order to receive free regular postage, there is a minimum spend of $350. If your order does not reach the minimum of $350, then postage costs will be at the expense of the customer. When you come to enter the shipping details in the order process you can choose between regular and express post.

Express Post Option: If the minimum spend of $350 is reached and you wish to have your stock delivered express, then the additional cost of express postage above the cost of regular postage will be charged to your business via a separate invoice.

If you order express post and your order does not reach the minimum spend of $350, then the full expense of express post will be included on your invoice. Please note that as we are based in Regional Victoria, express post charges outside of Victoria are very high.

In the event that the minimum spend of $350 to receive free postage is not reached, then we try to use the smallest Aus Post Postage satchel we can which is the most economical way to deliver your order.

*The number of thongs that can fit in a satchel is only a guide and is of course size dependent.

*If the thongs cannot fit into a postage satchel, then they will have to be put into a box and the postage will then get more expensive and in this case, it will be more economical for you to push for the minimum spend of $350 to receive free postage.

There are two ways to monitor the delivery status / tracking of your order:

Option 1: Monitor tracking via the tracking number in the dispatch notification email that you will have received to the email address associated with your Archies Footwear account.

Your order will be sent as soon as the order is paid / remittance advice is received. However, the dispatch day normally depends on the time that the payment has been received. For payments received before 12pm, we will endeavour to dispatch your order the same day. For payments received after 12pm, we will still endeavour to dispatch your order same day, however in this case, please allow for next day dispatch.

Shipping cost depends on the size of the order and where the thongs are going to. Shipping is free for orders over $300.00 of spend on thongs.

For orders under $300.00 of thongs spend, postage is at the expense of the customer.

Operational Queries

Opening the online order form: To place an order, go to the ‘PLACE AN ORDER’ tab and select ‘Order Now’. Once in the ‘Order Now’ tab, the online ordering spreadsheet should appear. Make sure you use the correct web browser:  Please note; the website and online ordering form do not function correctly when using older internet browsers such as Internet Explorer. For the website to function correctly you need to be using more modern internet browsers such as Google Chrome. Add required items to cart: Add the items you would like to order to the cart as per a normal order.Put the discount code in the correct location: If you have a discount code for whatever reason, then put this discount code in the discount code section of the order form, NOT in the order notes section! The discount code will not work if you put it in the order notes section! Once you have entered the discount code in the discount code section of the online order form, simply click ‘Apply’. If the discount code has worked then you should see value of the discount code deducted from the cart total.


Be aware that the discount code may affect the cart total cost and thereby affect whether or not you qualify for free shipping: Please note; if you use the discount code as part of a larger order that you are being charged for, the value of the discount code will be deducted from the order total thereby potentially affecting whether or not you qualify for free shipping. E.g – You may have a discount code for $17.50, if you have ordered $300.00 worth of stock but use this code, it will reduce the cart total to $282.50 (below the minimum spend for free shipping). In this case, to qualify for free shipping, you would need to order an additional pair to get the cart total back to $300.00 spend to trigger the cart's automatic free shipping. So just a ‘heads up’ to keep an eye on the shipping cost if using a discount code when using it as part of a larger order in case it affects whether or not you qualify for free shipping.

If you are having any issues with using your discount code, please contact us and we will try and sort this out for you ASAP! The most common reason that the discount code will not work is because the customer is trying to put the code in the order notes section or because they are on the wrong website all together!

Some things to check: 

You need to be using the right internet browser: The website does NOT function correctly when using older internet browsers such as Internet Explorer. For the website to function correctly, you must use more modern internet browsers such as Google Chrome. If you do not have Google Chrome, then please click on the following link to download it. It’s free, easy and only takes 1 minute or so. Google Chrome Browser Free Download: https://www.google.com/chrome/ You must submit the order: The cart does not automatically update. You also need tick the box the says that you agree with the terms and conditions of the Archies Footwear Supply Agreement (providing that actually do agree to the terms, do not worry, there are no tricks here) and once you have done this, you need to click on the 'Submit Your Order' button to be able to check out and add the items to the cart. Check your screens zoom level: The checkout button is sometimes hidden if your computer screen is zoomed in too far. If you check this and zoom out, the 'Submit Your Order' button may become more visible if zoom levels were previously an issue. Note; the zoom level of the screen is often controlled by a menu in the top right of your computer browser (As per the below image).


Try refreshing your browser: If after completing all of the above and none of the suggestions work, then try refreshing your browser. Unfortunately, this will wipe your order, however, our system records all abandoned checkouts and under most circumstances, our system will automatically send you an abandoned checkout email which will allow you to pick up the order where you left it (Note; there are some exceptions where the system will not capture the abandoned order). If after refreshing the browser and the order is wiped and you do not receive an abandoned cart email, then unfortunately, you will have to input your order again. If all else fails, then contact us: If you are still having problems after all of this, then please contact us and we will try and sort this issue out for you ASAP!

At present we do not have a back order system in place, as such; you can only order the stock that is available at the time of ordering. We have orders that arrive on a monthly basis, so if we are out of stock of a particular item, you will never be far away from being able to get it. The date of the next order arrival can be found at the top of the online order form on the Archies Footwear retailer website.  

There is no minimum order for Archies Thongs and we are more than happy to do small orders, however, in order to receive free postage, there is a minimum spend of $300. If the minimum spend of $300 is not reached, then postage will be at the expense of the customer. In the event that the minimum spend is not reached, where possible, we try to use the smallest Australia Post Postage satchel we can which is the most economical way to deliver the order to you. 

You do not need to send remittance advice for orders paid on the website by credit card as we are automatically notified of your payment in our system.

If paying by bank transfer, as our payment terms are 100% upfront prior to shipment and we will not release your order until payment is received, it is very important that you send remittance advice to accounts@archiesfootwear.com.au as soon as the order has been paid for.

As soon as remittance advice is received, your order will be sent. If paying for your order by bank transfer, please ensure that you include the order number in the description. You will receive an order confirmation email to the email address associated with your Archies Footwear account shortly after you have placed your order with your order number. 

Warranties and Replacements

Archies Footwear covers a six month warranty period for Archies Thongs for manufacturing faults/ issues. 

As a retailer, you have four options:

Option 1 - Offer the customer a replacement pair in-store and then contact our support team for a discount code to cover the cost of this pair. You can use this code any time that suits you.

Option 2 - Requesting a discount code from our support team and order your customer another pair online and send it to your store. This option is better suited if you do not have the stock in store. 

Option 3 - Requesting a discount code from our support team and order your customer another pair online and send it to their address. You simply change the postal address of your order. This option is better suited if the customer does not come into your store/practice often. 

Option 4 - Direct your customer to complete our online warranty claim on the Archies Footwear website and we will take it from there! Please ask the customer to visit www.archiesfootwear.com.au and go to the contact us page, from there they will see the warranty claim form. 

 

Before approving a warranty claim please read the following:

While we have made the thongs as strong as we possibly can and typically speaking they are very strong, occasionally we do get the odd one that breaks due to weakness from a manufacturing fault or simply catching them at slightly the wrong angle.

We want happy Archies Thongs customers and fortunately returns with Archies Thongs are very low, as such we prefer to adopt a very relaxed approach to our returns!

If a customer purchases thongs and they subsequently claim that they are faulty, eg. if the strap snaps, if the toe pole breaks, please choose from the four options above to proceed with a claim for replacement pair.  

Please check the purchase date is within the 6 month warranty periodPlease send us a photo of the fault.Please take a photo of the Size Box on the bottom of the thong (The US, UK, EURO Size Box) so that we can identify the mould through the Size, and Mould Serial Code.Please give a brief description of how the fault occurred.Please tell us how long the customer had the thongs for.

The most important consideration when assessing returns is if the issue occurred within the warranty period (6 months) and within the grounds of normal/fair use.
